- Prevention by treatment of the outside, and here either to remove the compounds that cause rust, such as the oxygen from the water or by adding to the water a factor reduces its effectiveness and as chromic.
- Remove the whiteness and concrete cover from the bottom
- Clean old steel well from rust and paint it with zinc rich material
